On this tour you’ll be able to get wildlife pictures at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and the Alaska Sea Life Center. If you’re lucky you may get to see orcas, humpbacks or other sea mammals in Resurrection Bay or Cook Inlet. Otters, eagles and moose are common to see on this drive. I’ll have recommended local activities at each destination like glacier and marine life tours etc. but happy to shuttle you to your own preferred local activities if you like.
Experience Adventure! We’ll be at your service 7:00am to 7:00pm so let’s go! With us you can visit a new town every day instead of waking up at the same lodge doing the same thing day after day. Come with us to pack in a lot of regional sights, foodie experiences and local activities in a short period of time. We’ll have recreational gear like kayaks, bicycles and basic fishing tackle everywhere we go so you can travel light and still have the gear you need to have a good time. We stay on or near the water at each destination with many local sights and activities to enjoy. Flying, glacier hikes, dog sled tours and endless optional Alaska fun awaits you!
Camping accommodations are outdoors. Local hotels and Air BnB upgrades may be available and we can shuttle you there and back as well. We sleep on air beds in rugged Coleman weathertech cabin tents. Campgrounds have outdoor potties and some have showers however, we have an outdoor shower system but generally bathe with baby wipes or medical wipes when showers are not available. Local showers are available during shuttle times if needed.
Food and water planning. We provide breakfast daily at a chosen (or group vote) local restaurant menu. Snack and lunch food is always in our coolers as well as fresh water to refill your travel mugs. Dinner is your responsibility whether you choose to prepare your own at camp or a local restaurant however, we often have free dinner foods at camp around a campfire. If fishing has been good recently then expect to eat fresh smoked salmon or halibut fish and chips!
Anglers touring with us get local fishing reports, freezer space, vacuum sealers and smoker for your convenience. I’m also happy to help you fillet and process your fish. If you’d like to return home with your catch then insulated fish transport boxes are available locally. If you’re on a “fishin” mission to fill your freezer we have many local licensed fishing guides and charters to help you do just that. Please let me know ahead of time to help ensure your reservation for your targeted species. We sometimes get last minute calls for a chance to fill cancelled fishing charters. Scoutmasters… this is the place for your Scouts to earn their fishing merit badge!
Minimum group size of 6 (some exceptions) with a maximum of 20. No waiting for jumbo motor coaches to load and unload several dozen passengers! If you don’t have 6 people please drop us a line with your preferred dates and how many guests then we may be able to assemble a mixed group of 6+ with similar dates. Have more than 20 in your group we can work that out too.
Discounts available for Veteran Families, Scout Troops and church groups just ask!
